How good is Windows Defender because when scanned for Spyware it came up with no spyware.When i ran Spybot it picked up aload of Spyware

I`ve had Windows Defender for about 2 months now, and so far so good. It runs quite happily with Zonealarm and Yahoo Protection. It`s scans have revealed nothing so far, but it probably searches for any major threats. Some programs say they have found so many problems and it will cost "Just a few pounds" to sort this out, but that`s just marketing. It`s free, so why not give it a try. Unless you are already happy with Spybot.

It depends upon the software. Some sostwares may not detect certain spywares. If you want, I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...! Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at
