they made me take homeschooling for the past four months and its really hard an i hardly learn anything.i want to go back in january, before school is over.how can i make them understand that i have to go back.back? at school i got straight A's and now in homeschooling im barely passing.

with all due respect for you,something is missing in this story,
but you have to give more details,sound like they are the villains
on this story, straight A's and drop down grades?that's a pretty
obvious contrast?and they are not worry about that?

You need to have a conversation with your parents and find out why they prefer homeschooling to public school, it might give you a different view on the situation and it will defiantly help you build your argument for going back to school.
I'm not sure what style of homeschooling your doing but perhaps adjusting that would help too. If you feel you need the structure of a school to learn then that is just who you are and your parents need to respect that. If they see that you have really thought about this and you have your education in mind then they are more likely to take you seriously.
I know it can be hard to make the switch, a change that big to your life style is difficult but I think you should stick with it a few more months and see if you can make it work. Homeschooling offers lots of opportunity's that you can not get in a school environment.

I think u should give it more time,and think of all the good things about homeschooling, U get yur school done earlier,get to watch more t.v.,get to well chill and relax.....and a whole bunch of other things i can't even list them all. I have been homeschooling for 4 years,and i LOVE it it the best. So just don't base yur decision now,just give it time. Oh and if yur afraid of not seeing yur friends that often,or talking to them,don't worry true friends will stick by u and email u and im u and call u. So i say just stick with it. Nothings easy at first.

Do you know what that means? That means that they were main streaming you in school. My best friend was in that same situation. She got straight A's in Public School but now, she's dealing with harder more difficult things. Is she getting straght A's now? No. It's a little hard just jumping right in to home schooling. I am currently in the 6th grade and have been home schooled all of my life. But, my best friend, just jumped into it this year. See what I mean?

If you are failing at home, ask yourself why your parents would send you back. If you're trying to prove a point, it's probably not the right one.
You can't force them to change their minds, and you don't *have* to go back. You could talk about some of the reasons they pulled you out of school, if I had my guess it was probably TOO much socialization.
Sorry you hate it. Every experience is something you can learn from, if you choose to...

First off all,you knows why they not like go to school.so if there's something u did wrong befor so try to fix it.also ,you should explain to them how it's different and it's not working with you learning from home.Finally, if the refuse dont care and go to school and if they forced you to stay call child abuse center

Tell them that you think you learn better in that type of environment,,, that its hard for you to learn anything by yourself through home school,,, and you miss socializing,,, tell them you think you learn more in school... and extra things might have a better effect into geting into college extra things like high school sports teams or anything like that....

There are problems with both schooling systems,but if you were making straight A's in public school. How come you can't maintain them in home school?

hello, i know the feeling, in k-6th grade i had straight a's,then they started hs'ing me in 7th grade and wouldnt allow me to go back untill 12th grade year,then i got messed out of going back cuz the public school system couldnt get my paperwork straight...

You can't. Your parents think they can better prepare you for life by 1) keeping you away from other school kids your age; 2) they are smarter than your school teachers; 3) they think the schools are "bad" places for you to be.
Of course we both know they are wrong.
