Boys don't pick up on non-verbal cues very well, and they don't take hints.
If you want him to know or understand something, you have to tell him flat out.

sit down have a talk with him
first does he speak the some language that could be a big problem. in that cause learn his language.
if you just can't get along then talk it out and if you still can't see eye to eye, then maybe its best to move on.
find someone who can understand you.

in the beginning, I had the similar problem with my boy friend. But, you know a girl should know to say ok or please. This solves many problems in relationships. Try it.

Have a heart to heart talk with him. if he still don't listen, then drop him. make sure what you want from him is reasonable though. Did you force him?
