If a guy was sitting at a table by him self but he looked inviting, Would you talk to him ?
lets assume this is at a social place for example a local establishment that serves drinks.

I know that some people are traditional and some people say times have changed. I am just seeing what people think. I dont want to do all the asking, having people come up to you is fun also.

Tim has some good points I was thinking of trying something new, Insted of hiting on girls I thought maybe outgoing girls would hit on me. What do I know?

As long as theres no ring on his finger I would. Well knowing me I would wait a good 10 minutes chill somewhere else and if he was still alone I would pop in. I wouldn't want his date to be in the bathroom or him be meeting some girl and make myself look like an idiot so I always wait a good 10 mintues first. Past experience. lol

First never sit at a table by yourself it looks like your unsocial or that your waiting for someone. If you do get hit on in that situation watch your back she is probably married or has a boyfriend.
Second there is a fine line between looking inviting and looking desperate.
Third if the woman you has been watching is jumping from table to table talking to inviting looking guys comes to your table wait for her to talk first she'll probably ask if you need a drink.
Fourth stop looking in bars for women to pick you up. Stand up for yourself watch the scene and make your move, something normal like sending her a drink or asking for a dance and not a slow dance.

I'm outgoing so i would ask you if you were here along and work my way into a conversation leading you to invite me to sit with you IF i was there alone or with my girlfriends. Then you would be the genlemen and buy us/ or me a round of drinks! :)

I would need a few drinks in me first, just to loosen me up. Then I would wait, because maybe his girlfriend just stepped out to use the restroom.

times have changed. I would go over and start a conversation or play the juke box and ask him if he had a song he would like to hear or what type of music he prefered i play.

i would, but most times i start with some thing really small like nice shirt, or just a smile and if he doesn't carry on, the yea he's on his own

if not, she'll not initiate talk, she'll wait4him2make the first move.
