This guy I like very much is so confusing. I know he has a gf that he sees on the weekends & often when he was getting ready to leave to visit her he would tell me he didn't really even want to go. Was he hoping I would tell him not to go & stay & do something with me? He is all the time asking me why I don't ask him to do things for me. He wanted me to go with him & meet his buddies once & I told him I couldn't. He doesn't seem to understand that since he has a gf I can't interfere & there are lines I can't cross.
So I guess I just want to know how often do guys do this (have a gf and act like it has nothing to do with him and another girl). I've given him several chances to just completely walk away but he won't. I'm assuming he is still with his gf but we don't talk about it anymore. I guess we are friends (he won't say what I am to him---he knows I like him as more than a friend). Why does he not understand this?

He is not good. You are smart and doing things right. All guys are not like that. He probably wants to sleep with you.

Unfortunately a majority of guys (not all) seem to have a personal score system to help make them feel better for their inadequate little egos. Don't fall for it and take no notice of that idiot's answer up there ^. You are doing the right thing by not buying into it.

Yes, guys do that all the time. Not all guys, but some of them do. There was this guy who kept asking me out even though both of us were dating other people. And when it came down to business, he said he was only kidding. Guys want us to like them irrespective of our bfs or theirs gfs. Its just the way some of them are. They like the attention. But you shouldn't like them.
