it's possible that if you're having heart palpitations and it's keeping you awake at night, you're probably experiencing sleep apnea. this is a serious condition that can be life-threatening. you should see a doctor.

Try taking baby aspirin you know the 81mg it is safe and will slow your palpation's. I take it for mine and it also thins out your blood. It also relaxes you so that you rest. It is very safe to take if it is safe for children. Every once in a while you may want to take a regular aspirin 325mg it is also safe. People who are having a heart attack should take a aspirin and it helps in them not having one. My dad was told by his Dr. to take one 81mg aspirin per day. Hope this helps.

Breath deeply and relax..think happy thoughts....read a book to distract yourself...and you will eventually get tired and knock out.

stop thinking about ur heart palpitation,concentrate on something else......like count numbers from 1-100 or sing a song........or pray...this will definitely help you.

My Dr. gave me Xanax, and tought me breathing exercises. Also, no caffeine or nicotine.
