Wow, so many rude answers. I think you should take a look at adjusting the white balance. Your camera needs to know what the color "white" should be. Then it will adjust everything else.
Orange tint is also common when you are not using a flash in flash settings. Not using the flash will also account for the blur as the camera is using long exposures to get the light it needs. Check for how you turn on the flash. Use the flash more, not less. Even outdoors and it will fill in shadows but only up to 10 feet away.

You probably need to adjust the white balance if these are indoor shots. Usually it is on "auto" which is ok for well lit, daytime/outdoor shots. But artificial indoor light usually looks orange or yellow if the white balance is not adjusted.
Find out how to change it and try it in all modes to see what turns out best. Depending on your camera you may be able to save that setting for your indoor shots.

If it's not a really cheap camera, take it back to the vendor.
Digital cameras should not suffer from film fogging or bad development. And that sounds like your problem. Go back and raise the appropriate amount of Heck.

Since it's a digital camera, look for other settings or turn off/on the flash.
