Is it ok to use quran as holy book by muslims even today

I believe in the old age, those punishments which involve head decapitation and/or hand mutilation are done to those who committed their crime offensively and often repeatedly. The Saudi still -and will always- complies to the Qur'an and Syariah, but with the goverment and King's consideration and or referral. Any Muslim shall follow the valid rules, law and regulation within the region they reside in. It goes to show that Islam is meant to be flexible and not barbaric in any way :)
Hope that gives insight :)

Muhammad did not create this system.God did.Muhammad just told his followers. In Saudi Arabia,if you murder somebody, they will cut your head off.If you steel anything that's not yours, they cut your hand off.If you commit rape, adultery, fornication,or incest, they will stone you to death. This was once a practice ALL OVER THE WORLD.Especially in China. Why is it such a problem that Muslims are all most the only people who still do it?In the Muslim world,a girl can leave 2 solid gold bangles inside of her desk at school for an entire year, and at the end, they both will still be there. Can't do that hear. One day and both bangles are gone. Many people say it's barbaric and in-humane.It's not.Just.don't steel.

I think its a good system, keeps the crime rate low, people don't dare to commit crimes. Here what do they get for crimes 3 meals a day and a private or semi-private room with an exercise facility....

When you see a person missing a hand, then you will never think of stealing.

As a result of this at prayer times in Islamic countries shop-keepers leave their store to go pray, and do not have to worry about thieves.

How about asking a questiong that is not accusatory and somewhat researched?

There was no "dark ages" of the Arab Kingdom. It is "Syariah law" it is Shariah's Law.

While we can understand if english isn't your first language, if you are going to be pompous at least become more fluent.

Sharia law is a divine law and a universal law without any limitations and is approved by GOD.
Other than divine law is a man made law and is a temporary law that is keeps on changing within its own limitations to suit their comfort and doesn't work everywhere or neighbourhood and is not accepted by GOD.
