I think the bible is a good way to spread the lessons that God wants us to learn, but I think it is more important to understand the concepts taught in the book than the stories. So belief that the bible is infalliable and 100% true and right? Not necessary, belief in the concepts of love and understanding behind it? Absolutely necessary.

The Bible is the only source which tells you what is necessary for salvation. It tells you how the universe began, how sin began and about God's jugement on sin. The Bible is the only source of Truth and is essential for your spiritual well being.

The Bible is a guide for all those that choose to follow Christ. The only thing that can actually save you is the precious blood of Jesus. His sacrifice for our sins on the cross gave us reconciliation with God. All we have to do is accept what Jesus did for us and acknowledge his atonement for our sins. Admission that we are sinners and confession to God. Ask God to forgive you and lay your sins at the cross of salvation. Like the song says, "what can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus". If we are to be followers of Christ, we need the Bible as a guide to teach us how God wants us to live. The Bible is the word of God. God bless you!

No. A steadfast belief in your own soul as a facet of the CREATOR is all that is necessary. the rest is man made additions.to promote certain religious beliefs.

yes you have to believe the bible in order to be saved because the bible is god's word and if you don't believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins and arose the 3rd day then you can't get saved

I don't believe in any other Savior than the Almighty God. God needs no son, wife, or anyone or anything else to 'save' us.
