The right hand was the "hand of service" at the time it was written. In other words, we need to serve God, not "the beast."

What 'Mark' are you referring to?

OK..... post script needed here....

I know what the 'Mark of the Beast' is all about.
What are you saying, that you have begun SEEING this mark?

Right handed people are more generally seen, not hing 'bad' or 'good' about it. Several Roman Legions actually taught their legionnaires to fight left-handed as it really confused the Barbarians.

The left hand..... well it was used for more 'pedestrian things' (toilet paper was not in abundance back then).

As far as the 'Number of the Beast' goes;
There are several problems with this ...........

That 'Mark' has never been confirmed and some biblical scholars now believe the number is NOT 666 but might actually be 615 or 665.

This comes from 'Revelations'; which is part of the Gospel of John of Patmos.
This Gospel was considered heresy until 450 C.E. and burned outright.
2 reasons off hand (the sinister..hahahah)

1- John of Patmos was probably not "John the Apostle". This gospel contained some very odd things in it which no other Gospel spoke of. The raising of Lazarus, the feeding of the multitudes and of course your favorite....'Revelations' (also know by its Greek name...'Apocrypha')

2- One of the people who possibly wrote this gospel supposed died of an opium overdose in Patmos.

Maybe because most people are right handed? IDK? Ive thought the same thing too, myself----many times.

And of course, the "forehead" too, don't forget that.

Perhaps the forehead would represent the beast breaching your mental and spiritual ability to discern the mark itself.
And the right hand...well--; like I said, if one were to try and remove the mark...most might have a hard time (populus being mostly right-handed), so using your left would not be easy?
IDK..but I really would like to know....
Props for the great question!!!!

There's a mark of the beast now? So you know what it is! Do tell.

it might just be symbolic of the work done by your hands. example: if God looks down to see who has his mark and who has the devils mark, he can tell just by seeing what each sheep is doing, one is doing Gods work has his seal, the one doing the devils work has the mark of the beast. Do you have it?

Most people are right handed.

Right hand in Latin is -DEXTERA
Left hand in Latin is -SINISTERA!

ERGO; It "contaminates" the good.
