It's for a wine cake, I'm making. Should I spray non stick spray on it, or something. Or should it come out easy after it's done baking? help!

Definitely. I spend a lot of time baking, and trust me, even if a recipe doesn't call for it, you always want to grease first. Unless the recipe specifically says not to. Especially with a bundt pan. All the little ridges make it super easy for cakes to stick. Pam works, but for cakes, I would suggest a flour based spray. I believe Pam has a flour variety. What I use though is made specifically for cakes. Wilton makes it, and you can find it in any Walmart or Micheal's craft store with the cake decorating supplies. In Walmart, you want the cake section in crafts, not grocery. I believe it's called easy bake, but I'm not exactly sure without looking. It's an all white spray can, and trust me.... it's a miracle spray. I use it for every cake, and never have problems with sticking, plus it leaves no flavor what-so-ever. After all, it's from Wilton, and what company does cake making better?

If it doesn't call for it to be done, the author of the recipe presumes that you already know that is a necessary step so they don't feel the need to mention it. If you don't grease the pan somehow, whether using no-stick spray or the flour method, you will have problems when you try to remove the cake.

always grease your bunt. Non-stick pans only work on the stove not in the stove

If it needed it, the recipe would state it. I'd not grease it... Good luck.

If the pan is nonstick, dont put anything, but if its not nonstick, grease it up

a little Pam never killed anybody... and it should come out much much easier if you spray it first.
