most likely not the best idea to lie about it.
Best bet is to talk to her with out any one else there and just let her know that you are ok with the fact that she does not want to date you. Tell her that soon your feelings will not be so strong but do tell her that you like having her in you life as a friend even though she does not want to date you. Let her know that you also care for her as a friend and that she should not feel wierd or act differently around you.
I have a friend who, in a time of stress asked another friend to marry him, even though they dated once 20 years ago and they have been friends since.
She did not understand him or his reasons and it totally ruined their relationship.
Bummer.
Try not to pressure your friend, if she needs her space then let her have it. These things can ruin friendships but they do not have to if they are handled right.
Try to find another lady who appreciates you, once your friend sees that you are with another woman you guys might be able to have a laugh over how awkward it was.
These things are not easy when you are in high school. Raging hormones can get the best of us..
Good luck.
Stay true to yourself!!!

we've for years and years and in all maximum all situations they have failed miserably. look at welfare what replaced into meant to be a software to help those with a hand up has grew to become into the tremendous provide away, with generations on the dole with little over web site, look on the federal classes now, the government has run with liberal techniques by using fact the 1960's , and introduced away own duty, that's to no longer say some people do no longer choose for a hand up or help. people do choose for help on occasion, individuals lose their jobs, fathers stroll out, etc, etc however the reason, yet once you placed up structures that do away with any form of duty from self, then that's incorrect. look decrease back in historic past detect a million software that has no longer been mis controlled or corrupted via greed, there are none. Are a number of them needed sure, however all of them have grew to become into substantial boondoggles that cost taxpayers further and extra each 12 months. And it upsets people who paintings no longer uncomplicated daily, play via the regulations, and notice themselves in no way get forward. EDIT@ Spagetti Bethy factor approximately some strikes may be a rustic killer is a valid one. by using fact as quickly as you placed any form of plan in place that's in basic terms approximately impossible to get rid of it, and it does cost taxpayers tens of millions, She reported no plan yet in concept an excellent sufficient plan would have that effect.

you've been honest with her and let your honesty stand...that is the very best thing you can do for any relationship...whats weird is she is in love with someone she doesn't really know...the man/woman maybe some 60 yr old perv claiming to be her age. one thing for sure most ppl you meet on the internet are never what they claim to be. she should forget the 'fantasy' guy and get with a real one who not only likes her but is there for her...thats you.

I would just tell her that you like her and understand that she is in this "relationship" and that you don't want things to get weird. That you still want to be friends but will not bring this up again unless she wants too, just that you wanted to let her know how you feel.

I would just back off and give her some time to mull over how she really feels about you. Maybe that's why she's been acting weird. Just hold back...hang in the background, limit your contact. If she's curious, she'll come around.

Talk to her, tell her that you respect the fact that she's involved with someone else. You will respect your boundaries as a friend, and you do not want to lose your friendship over your confession.
