There is no way to "fix" split ends. They need to be cut off.

You should get your split ends cut every 3 months at the very least even if you take excellent care of your hair. All they have to do is cut a quarter of an inch off which you won't really notice. A product I used to use that I absolutely loved when I had long hair is called Pro-Vitamin Split End Mender. They used to sell it at stores like Target and Wal-Mart but now I can only find it on Amazon and ebay. There is nothing that will get rid of split ends but there are products that will make them considerably less noticeable such as the Split End Mender.

We have the same problem... I take the time to trim my hair atleats every three weeks just where the split ends start.. Do the same trick they do in a salon... start on the hair above your nape and grad a fairly thick section. Then the clamp the rest up so you won't accidentally snip the other ends. start triming and do the same with the othe sections. It make take a little while but it's all worth it at the end... good luck!

The best way I have tackled my own was to follow the traditional system of tieing my hair up into braids or ponytails whatever overnight. It gets rid of these split ends in as little as one month. I have seen mine, it will definitely do for you.
The reason behind this is that during the night, the head and hair is most abrased with the pollow, which in turn tears up hair.

Start taking protein supplement right away. You will see a drastic reduction in split ends. Secondly, hold a section of hair in your end, using scissors just trim it slightly, and do this for whole scalp. Finally, keep your hair clean by washing it at least twice a week. Keep it nourished by messaging with warm oil. Do this for 1 month and see the difference!

you're gonna have to cut em off sweetie. Trust me or the split ends will just get worse. you're hair grows faster when u cut it anyway. get a good conditioner and if u flat iron ur hair, get some kind of heat styling protector so that it doesnt dry out and break off. also i wrap my hair every night and tie it up with a satin scarf. this helps to keep your hair moisturized and it wont look crazy when u wake up lol

There are ways you can disguise split ends, but they'll keep splitting, and your hair will get frizzier and frizzier as it gets longer. I would just go to a salon and get an inch or two off. It's the best way to get long, healthy hair.

Straightening your hair is going to make your split ends worse. You are burning it. Love your hair when you can. Use good shampoo that restructures, like Infusium and don't comb it, brush it, spray it, touch it, unless you have to for awhile.....
Then you can cut all those dead ends off and feel like a new girl!
(around Valentine's day...we're just like birds..lol)

area your hair in sections and twist the area in an honest coil. Snip off the little products protruding with a pointy pair of scissors. this could eliminate the split ends with out going for a complete haircut.
