How should i approach this situation / girl?

Question

So I have liked this girl since i spent a day with her a few weeks back. She is in 8th grade i am in 10th. I am in high school she is in junior high. I know her through my sister. Talked to her a lot during that day, and now it seems like she is into me. By things ive been hearing and seeing that shes doing and how shes acting i believe she kind of likes me but is afraid to admit it because i am her friends brother. She invited me and my sister to new years party. What should I do? I dont want to go and seem like i have nothing better to do. But i also want to show up. Should i go an hour late? or go for an hour then leave? I would rather be there later in the night as she would probably be more comfortable during then. But how should i act? Its quite a tough situation, i like her so i will try to act like i dont, aka i will be confident, non chalant, etc. not a cocky a**. so, how should i approach this girl, and how should i act? I want to go with her but dont want to ruin my chances

First of all, stop worrying about showing up too early or late. If she invited you to the party, then she likes you or at least wants to talk some more to comfirm your "dateability". And if you want to go out with her, it will show her that you are interested. If you start trying to over think the situation, you've already set yourself up for failure. You'll ruin your chances by doing anything other than being yourself. You've already talked with her and have connected on some level, so just run with it. Everyone is nervous when first meeting someone they are attracted too (remember she's just as nervous).

Just go, be yourself and have some fun. If things proceed well at the party and you feel you want to start dating her, you may want to "ask" your sisters permission, or at least give her a heads up, since she is your sisters friend. Speaking from experience (I have three younger sisters) having them as allies is better than enemies.

You should definately go.....but show up and hour or two late cause she'll be looking for you and be happy when you show up. Make sure to look extra nice. :-) if you dont go some other guy may steal her attention and you'll regret it. if she's a pretty girl that could happen very easily. just try to be cool with her for a minute and if you see relationship potential take it slow then discuss it with her. 9xout of 10 you'll know if she's feelin you or not. Go to the party, look good, party hard and have fun. And if it doesnt work out with her maybe you'll see another dime at the party. lol good luck

hows it going buddy.. ive been in plenty of situations like these. I'm 22 and remember feeling how you do when I was younger. Well here is my advice... make her know that you appreciate her for asking you to come out. This will make her feel more comfortable that your there. .and just be the gentlemen you are, just be yourself. I would just enjoy the time you spend together, and know that if your not sure about something, you always got time. Its your best friend :-) But most importantly.. just go out and have some fun man.. get to know her, ask questions.. people love to talk about themselves! and take your time!
