Wiccan Beggining?

What do you believe as far as the creation of the world? Of us as humans? Evolution?

Wicca does not dictate how the world began, so each individual practitioner has his or her own opinion of it.

Although I am no longer Wiccan, I still follow a similar Pagan path.

I believe in polytheistic evolution. In the beginning, the Divine (which manifests Himself/Herself/Itself in many different gods) created the laws of science and physics (some of which we have realized, few of which we really understand, and many of which we've yet to discover), and through these laws, the universe and everything within it evolved into what it is today.

I've heard so many beautiful creation stories, that it's impossible to pick a favorite, but I don't ascribe any of them to be the absolute truth-they are explanations given to humans that they could grasp, as the truth behind the universes creation is not something any mortal can. I try not to worry about how we got here, because the important thing is that we are all here

There are many creation myths and it is up to the individual or tradition to decide which one speaks to them. There is an Italian witches bible written down from oral tradition that simply state the Goddess was in primordial form and began to think and dream and wonder then she separated with an explosion and the God was formed through chaos. She began to desire the God and to become one with him, but in order to do that she had to descend down through the seven planes of existence. This explosion is where all life came from

This creation myth is more in line with the big bang theory of science than the bible myth.

everyone (religion) has a creation story.

i believe that the universe was there, and the gods made differant races of people and animals to represent them.
