to unify many, that is what conastantine wanted, the rest is history, but there really is one church, of many, and sadly, they are broken and spli, like a large pice of wood with many splinters, we do worship alone, even within the vuilding of faith, we pray directly, it is you and god

The Church is the Body of Christ on Earth, consisting of all born again believers in Jesus Christ. Paul commanded that we "not give up the assembling together, as some are in the habit of doing". Church is essential to a Christian's growth and education. It is in a true, Bible teaching and believing church that Christians receive a spiritual recharge of their batteries, training and education in God's Word, have fellowship with other believers and are spiritually strengthened through God's Word.

Hebrews 10:25 says that we should not forsake the assembling of ourselves!
We come together as the Body of Christ to worship God! No man is an island therefore we need each other!

cross: The obvious answer is to worship God together. One can also, worship God alone, daily, in both, spirit and truth.

It's there cuz Jesus wanted his disciples to teach the people who did not know Him & God about them. He wanted the Good News to spread. However, you can worship alone. It's your call.

Yes, but how would the Roman empire have gained control of a united empire if they didn't have the arm of the Church to do it with?
