I want to spend a few years in sunny, cool South American country when I retire and would like to take trips there without spending tons of money to scout it out...any help?

We travel to Chili's about once every two weeks
it is located in my town just across from the absolute largest mall in town and they serve some really good food there-- funny thing is though-- I've never had chili in Chili's---usually something like buffalo wings or chicken fried steak !!!

Now if your talking Chile--- the country---No I've never been and really don't want to--- they say that that group-- the Shining Path down there just Loves to kidnap Americans for ransom--- don't think I want to run that risk for myself--- knowing MY family -- they wouldn't even finish the ransom note before they just fell in the floor laughing-- you see-- I'm worth FAR more dead than alive !!!
