A while ago I had a friend who had a crush on her cousin and we and our friends were trying to figure out if it is wrong in the eyes of God. In Leviticus it meantions aunts, sisters, mothers (the male versions are applicable too I think, but it wasn't written like that b/c men wrote the Bible).
What do you think?

I think that it depends on the rules of your government. The bible says we must respect the rules of a God fearing government. Meaning that this nation must be in line with what god says. According to American government, who was founded as a Christian nation, marrying or being intimate with a cousin or any family member is illegal. This means that it would not be in line with the American government and in turn the bible. There are some governments or nations that a romantic relationship with ones cousin is perfectly okay. My opinion, however, can be summerized by Ew..! Gross>>!!

I only know about the Christian Bible, and It is a NO NO by all means. But If one or the other is adopted it doesn't matter. If you bread with in the family there are quite a few problems that occur physically and by the most part mentally. I was in love with two of my cousins, it never went any where. But there were 11 adopted children in family so we all could have done what ever because there was no blood relationship (by law in the USA) but by the Roman Catholic Church blood or no blood It Is Still a BIG NOOOOOOOO

What has the Bible got to do with it? Some countrys agree with a Marriage of cousins. What has incest got to do with it? We are all decendants of Adam and Eve. So isn't everyone being incesterous? Do want you want.

Kaiya, having a sexual relationship with a cousin is considered incest, and incest violates the laws of God and the laws of man.
