Whenever I eat the first few seconds of eating I get this pain in my jaw, but then it goes away after about 5 seconds...Is this serious?
This has gone on since I was born btw....

Maybe TMJ? but you should ask a doctor.

Stop popping your jaw. The joint swells up from the friction you're causing. You can be clenching your enamel due to emphasize at night time or subconsciously in the course of the day. Appear up TMJ syndrome. Stress is a B. Learn to relax, severely.

Yes...get to an orthodontist so they can check your jaw, you may have to go to a specialist beyond that. You can cause serious irrepairable damage to the jaw joint.....i should know, my daughter has a major jaw problem now.....no on acquainted her sudden headaches and acute hearing with her jaw for two years....thank god for the orthodontist.

I've never heard of that but It sounds similar to a bad hinge called TMJ joint (I believe) A decent dentist would know if this is the prob...Hope you find out--good luck

you could have a bad tooth, or you could have TMJ. If it dont get any better check with youre dr.

you coul be trying to cut your wisdom teeth.
if thats not it have a doctor look at it. x-ray and find out whats wrong.

No, maybe your chewing a little too hard or too much. It will subside.
