This might sound cliche, but try just looking in the mirror and finding one new thing you like about what you see every day. Or get a hobby, like a sport or art or something that you are good at and just dedicate yourself to kicking *** at it. I joined cross-country in high school, which was great. It was low-pressure because you didn't have to be good necessarily to be on the team, it was always the idea that you would improve, and the sport is based very highly on personal goals but is still a team environment, full of supportive people. Plus, I got into shape.

Surround yourself with people who treat you well. True friends will not compare themselves to you (especially not out loud!), will not try to compete with you, or try to steal attention from you.

If there's something you don't like about yourself that can be changed...like say, your body, for instance. Do something about it, or accept it as it is. It's not fair to yourself to have low self-esteem over something you can change!

Yes there are. First you have to start likeing yourself, then loving yourself. Cause if you don't then who will. You need to replace that i can't with I can. Quit putting yourself down, and thinking your a nobody. Look in the mirror and tell yourself you are as good as anyone else. Mean it . First it will be hard, but it will get easier. Change all the neg. things you think about yourself to positive one. Replace the neg. thinking and thoughts with positive ones. It is not easy, and does not happen over night, but it does work..

Merry Christmas

Don't base your self-esteem on that which isn't who you really are. Anything which isn't permanent, is NOT who you are.

You could hang out with losers and feel superior to them.
