My first love was my first everything. So there will always be a special place in my heart for him. How could I not keep him in my heart when we shared so much together. I wish him nothing but the best. I want him to be completely happy in his life even though it couldn't be with me. I have a tremendous amount of love in my heart for him, but I'm not in love with him anymore. Sometimes, however, I do catch myself dreaming that someday 5 or 10 years down the road we'll meet again and fall madly in love again, but it nothing more than that, a dream.

Yes! I do and alway's will love my first love for he wasn't just my first love but my whole world and I his up untill the time that he was killed in a gang crossfire the cops said that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and all he was doing was going to get his twin brother from a friends to bring him to a valentines day picnic in the park, he never made it there.I don't think you ever forget yuor first love and i don't think your suppose to for there the ones that teach you what love is all about. I hope that someday hopefully you and your first love will be reunited and that it will last for you, for we need a lot more happy endings in life.

Love isn't like a present that you give to someone and then take it back and return it. You will probably always love that person but, take that love put it on a shelf, take it out to look at it now and agian as the beautiful thing that it once was and move on, realizing that you will love again, but in a different way.

I married my first true love, so definitely.
I still love two other guys I've dated, as well, but no longer on that level. I love them for treating me well while we were together, and remaining friends with me after we figured out that we weren't right for each other.

no i dont love them anymore. It took a long time for me toget over them but i finally realized it wasn't love when i met my husband and i got a totally different feeling (its was like complete comfort). its took me a year and half to get over my first love but that because i felt betrayed. most of the time its not that you love them its that you love what you thought you had with them. dont worry one day you'll find someone who totally captavates your heart and makes you forget about all the other men who broke your heart.

honestly? sometimes,we havent dated for nearly 2 years now,but we are still somewhat of friends,he gets on my nerves but i believe there will always be something between us,it might just be that i feel very comfortable telling him anything or maybe its more of a brother love,im not sure,good question!

I still kinda of do but he changed. According to the new him, my poohbear/first love died a long time ago. Its normal to always think of them, but you should try to move on.
