Is there any way to get the plastic screen replaced?

Not good. Any household cleaner is NOT recommended on use for computer screens or televisions. It is possible that the chemicals on the television screen itself reacted with the chemicals in the windex and now have screwed the screen. The only thing recommended to use is a specific big screen clean, Monster Screen Clean works the best ($20 at any electronic retailer). Try getting some good screen cleaner and pray that the cloudiness goes away, else, sorry.

if your tv is an LCD/rear-pro type then the screen will almost certainly be plastic-and you should never clean a plastic screen with a caustic based substance. as the poster above says-it is ok for CRT/plasma sets as these are glass fronted. but all is not lost-depending on the model of your tv set the screen may be able to be replaced-so look into this. for future reference all tv screens should be cleaned using a damp cloth-in the case of plasma/CRT sets a small amount of propreitary cleaner (such as mr sheen/pledge etc) can be used on a clean dry cloth.

You can use Windex to clean a CRT tv, but not a LCD and that's what you have ?? I think he's already ruin your screen but you can try to clean it again using a soft lint free cloth with warm water to see if it work.
