you just have to keep in mind that ur raising a person and all your actions and habits will be brought onto them...they will learn...every little thing that you do. If you dont feel safe with that style with kids or find faults that could happen i'd consider changing it. But your influence on your kid is extreme..be who you want your kid to be but dont make your kid to be who u are....wow thats confusing but hopefully u get my meaning.

Of course. Having children means a lot of responsibility but it does not mean fun has to end. Once in awhile is ok as long as there is a someone to babysit. As far as the style is concerned, I don't believe you should completely change your look because it reflects your personality. However, keep in mind that you may offend other parents at your child's functions (soccer games, boy scouts, etc) if you show up with spiked green hair and fishnet stockings.

Yes of course it is. A responsible parent is a responsible parent no matter how they dress. And in my personal experience, kids whose parents dress differently than the mainstream tend to be more open-minded and confident than the parents of those who are in khaki's every day. As long as you're taking care of your kid, it doesn't really matter how you dress. Of course, you also have to make certain they know what other people are like and understand their reactions.

As long as they are taking responsibility for their kids and not doing illegal activities is ok to express themselves through clothing choice as long as it doesn't prevent them from being able to care for their kids. For example if the parent can't find employment because of the way they dress then they would need to change their dress for employment to be able to support their kids but other than that it isn't a big deal (atleast to me) what a parent wears (as long as certain body parts aren't showing). In order for our kids to feel comfortable being who they are we must be comfortable with who we are.

Never change yourself! There's nothing wrong with being yourself your kid will eventually look up to you!
Just because your young and had a kid doesn't mean you need to go out and buy Mr. Rogers sweaters.
Good luck!

there is nothing wrong with going to concerts every now and again, but if you are a parent, you have to remember that your children are looking up to you. set a good example. act like an adult. i'm not saying you should change everything thing about you once you become a parent...stay true to yourself, but remember that your children are looking to you to set the example.

Just because you're a parent doesn't mean that you stop being a person with likes and dislikes. There's nothing wrong with enjoying yourself from time to time.

As long as they teach their children values and treat them well, don't abuse them, and love them and set a good example, why would it be a problem?
