Hi everyone am belinda from China. My mom was diagnosed with hep E in Sep last year. Hep E was supposed to be something that goes away really quick/easy, yet the Hep E stayed in my mom's body and now it's somehow making her liver hard already..after only one year.. My english is not good enough to tell you guys what the heck is really going on with her body, all i know is, that mom's sick, her liver is getting hard, and the docs said altho they know its Hep E, but my mom's case is really rare that they dont know what to do with it, they are not sure if its cuz of her immune system or is it cuz of the Hep E virus. Right now my mom's in Huashan Hospital in ShangHai hoping to get better treatment. She's been there for a few days already, but apparantly nothing's really changing except it cost us a couple thousand Rmb everyday which is really alot. We are not rich, and mom's sick, i wish someone here can help us, to tell us is there any Charity we could turn to for help..pls save my mom...

The hospital should have a social worker who can tell you what charities or government benefits are available to help your mom. You should ask the nurse on duty next time you are in to visit to ask the social worker to call on your mother and see what can be done to help her pay for her medical care.

Sounds like you need to talk to my friend Sherry. She's a professional herbologist, who helps people with these types of situations through radiology. I can't guarentee she can cure your mom, but you can give her a try. She might be able to give you some suggestions. Here's her e-mail address freedom5group@yahoo.com
I hope things get better for you in the future, take care of yourself and your mom.
