Yes, he is working up to talking to you more.

Take it as a compliment--and an invitation to say something nice to him.

It's like fishing, give him some line, see if he takes the bait. You might be shy and not wanting to look like a fool, but as a guy, believe me, he might be the same, even worst. Start asking him stuff, like where's a good place to eat, hang out, anything. Seems like you're interested, surprisingly he might be also, you'll never know. So you might get your feelings hurt, what's new?. My credentials, well 27 years I was in the same situ, and took the plunge. I have been truly happily married for 26 years, and value that day I asked.

I'm not so sure I'd take that as a compliment, or flirting.

I think I need more information.

Ive said the same type of thing to people at my office. Someone will say, "Boy, I'm tired today" and I'll say, "You are working too hard."
When I say it I am not really complimenting the person about how hard they work.

It's just something to say back to someone at work who claims they are tired or hot, etc.

I think he's being friendly for sure.

That he took the time to say anything is a good sign. However, do not read too much into a chance remark. Test the waters further before you jump in.

I wouldn't say this is a serious indicator that he likes you. Compliment him a lot, be flirty. Give him the idea you like him. If he likes you, he might ask you out, or he'll chicken out, but it depends on the guy, but most guys would go for it if you give them enough confidence.

Does this guy even know you have a crush on him? Well, maybe he was trying to be nice, it seems like you two are friends. Just let the conversations flow, and it'll all make since. Trust Me!

Nahh. could've just been an off the cuff remark. Or maybe he was trying to be funny. It may or may not have been a compliment. Only he'd know.

It depends on which word he placed emphasis on . But I would say it sounds like your reading more into this than you should. Take a cooler shower tonight.

I think that's just everyday communication... But who knows maybe. Try to spark some conversations and just see where it goes?
Good Luck!

I really don't know but you can't be looking for a relationship, because you might get hurt.
