Where can I volunteer in Los Angeles for Christmas?

I don't live in LA, but I imagine that most homeless shelters or hospitals would appreciate volunteers.

Go to a VA hospital or nursing home. The homeless shelters usually book all their volunteers in advance.

Also, homeless people are hungry 365 days a year: you can also go on new year's day and volunteer -- you have the day off and they still need the help.

Go to ANY homeless shelter or soup kitchen, they can always use the added help. Merry Christmas
