I don't think most of them do. I think most just want to get in girls' pants. At least until they are older or mature-which ever comes first. I don't think they do as much as girls do though.

A very good question. I can only speak for myself. Because of many disappointments in women I married/dated before, I am a lot more skeptical at the ability of a woman to be as open and trust-worthy as I am. I guess that what I am saying is that YES I do long for true love, but realistically find it difficult to attain, so for me a lower level of a relationship will have to do. It is fun, still, but not my dream of a true love relationship as you have put it. I hope this gives you an insight from a man's perspective.

Some do, ones like me. I act like i want sex in front of the guys but seriously, i would prefer someone i can love. So far i've fallen in love twice, but whenever i do, things get very very complicated because i'm usually messed up in front of them. When i love someone, there's a feeling like something wonderful has lit up inside you, it sometimes takes a while to feel this, but when you first meet them, there's definately that magnetic feeling there, it only happens if you can love them. I imagine its the same for women

Sure most of us want to find someone to true love. I think I found true love with the girl I am with now. Men are just more cynical about because its difficult find, so most choose to believe it doesn't exist. While women have more faith in true love.

Yes alot of us want someone to love, someone to share our lives with, share our interests and passions with. Lets face it most of the time you spend with a person you are in love with involves doing other things together than sex. I am not sure why men are always singled out for only wanting sex in a relationship when so many of us are interested in being with someone for things other than sex...to have fun doing activities that are mutually interesting, to share in the ups and down of life together (where support is so important), and to spend time with someone we truely care about with all of our heart, soul and spirit.

I'm not in the least interested in sex without love. If I can't have a complete relationship, then I'm not interested in sex just for the sake of sex. That's as shallow and as empty as it gets. I respect myself as someone of substance, not just a hollow shell looking for distractions to get through this life.

Hey, who says women long for true love? I sure don't. If anything, I long for the avoidance of true love at all costs.

i dont think they do. they are more physical and women are emotional. i read a book once that was talking about the difference in male and female and men dont look at things from that perspective.
