How can I be so stupid sometimes? I am alone for the first time for christmas. My boyfriend is on a trip because he is a pilot. My dad sent me a card with some money in it and I was cleaning out my closet and ended up throwing it away in the dump at my apt. I went back to look for it and its gone. It was the only Christmas I had. And its not just the money but the card. I feel so depressed now.

That's so sad!!! Maybe you could go volunteer at a homeless shelter or something so that you can give to people. Giving always helps. As far as the loss of the card, I don't know what to tell you. Call your family and talk to them. You won't feel so lonely. The holidays are rough, believe me.

I'm not alone, I'm with my mom, but she is sleepping, in Venezuela it's already 1 30 am. And she went to bed early.
But I feel lonely, my brother lives at the US, my dad lives in another state, and my boyfriend is not with me...

sometimes things happen, it was just a silly mistake, cal your dad up and thank him for the card, have a nice long conversation with him, you will feel better about it, i promise
