Practice. And try to keep him out of your conversations. Calling him your boyfriend is probably just a habit. A good way to break any habit: wear a rubber band around your wrist. Every time you catch yourself (or someone else catches you) calling him your boyfriend, snap the rubber band. You'll come to associate this with pain fairly quickly and stop doing it.

You may not like him but you may still have him on the mind or got so used to him being around that it happens. However, you probably should consider how you will probably lose your boyfriend over a guy that you don' t even like-should get rid of the problem quick.

Dear Venom, you two do have history and slip ups can happen. I've done it while in bed with a new boyfriend. Not a good idea.Tell yourself silently that you will not make any reference about him. Practice this often and it will fade. Merry Christmas.

Delete his number from your cellphone, for one thing. That way there's no speed dial tempting you.
The fact that you feel the desire to call him, makes me doubt that you "don't even like him".
You might have some closure you need to get done.

You may no longer like him but you still may have something that is still not resolved. If so that may be the thing that is making you call him your boyfriend
