Yep. You need an amp and rs cables. you can get those cables for a stock cd player. I did that on my truck before I got my CD player. Go to any car audio shop. They can get you the right hookup and explain how to install it, or do it for you. But it is pretty easy to do, so you can save a couple dollars doing it yourself.

Unless the factory CD players has a high output amp, you will need to get an amplifier to go with the sub. The easiest way to add more bass is with a self-contained system with integrated woofer and amp, such as the Bazooka line. You only need to hook up power lines to the battery and signal lines to the amp output.
