I'm not saying a relationship is bad, but marriage at 19 isn't a great idea. Take your time.
The old saying "Marry in haste, repent at leisure" is true.

19 and 34 is a big difference. but then again. when my parents married my dad was 18 years older than my mom. they were married for 10 years. and my mom married when she was 22 so that would make him what? 30? so i guess its pretty close, but they also divorced because age caused a lot of problems. but my boss at work was also married to a guy with the same age difference and they were married until he passed away. so i guess age really dont matter too much, it all depends on the maturity level of the girl.

No, the age difference is merely a number. What matters is the love you have for each other. My parents were 29 years apart in age. My mom was 24, and my dad was 53 when I was born.
And they had 3 more kids after me... they were happy, very happy. The "reality" is this: Love is blind. Love is the most powerful emotion we feel, It encompasses all emotions, and does not recognize age, color, gender, religion, distance....
I wish your friend all the best!

I definitely think it's a problem. They are too far apart in age and there is a BIG difference in life experience between 19 and 34.

If they love each other want want to be with each other, they're 2 adults. What can possibly be wrong with it?
I have seen much bigger age differences than 15 years, and it works out. Plenty of marriages between people of the same age fail.

I don't think that's a bad thing at all! Age is really just a number. So long as they love each other and are happy, they should totally go for it.

age.....and maturity aren t one and the same. We all know people who are of one age..........and act either older/younger than it. My parents were 12 years apart..........and married for 47 years till my father passed soooooooo age differences do work sometimes.

Totally depends on the people. It could easily work out, but the bad side is she will become a widow early on.
