Why do Christians/Muslims transmit their religion to their children and risk sending them to hell?

both christians and muslims say that those who never hear of Jesus/mohammed's teachings, will be spared from hell. wouldn't you be doing the whole world a favor by completely hiding your faith from every one? surely god wouldn't punish those who never knew?

Do you even have children? If you do then you should know how difficult it is to get your child to follow your directions because of peer pressure, television, radio and the Internet. Everything is available to them instantly. If I don't teach my child The Truth, right from wrong, then my child is able to fall for anything out there. Why, as a loving parent, would I allow my children to be ignorant about God's love and Grace?

Where in the dickens did you EVER hear that those who never heard of the Word would be spared ?? No Muslim or Christian that knows anything at all of their own religion believes such drivel !! It is simply NOT so !!
The Law of God is not a negotiated document as to who hears this or that and it is not something that YOU even have a swing vote on as to whether or not it is RIGHT or not on However it happens to be---- it is GOD'S Law and not something you even have a Valid Opinion on -- no matter what you think IS
It is also written---to train a child in the way it should go and as the child matures -- they will not depart from the way !! What do you do with THAT as law ??

It stuns me to this day that people who have so little actual knowledge of ANY matters of religion and certainly do not search out the solid truth for any reasons of personal need or faith have so many opinions that they ready spout off as being GOSPEL TRUTH without knowing a damn thing about that which they speak !!!!

Of course, isn't that the truth. The funny thing is, there was actually a time in history when heaven and hell was introduced. I would have to go back and look it up, but it's called something like Zorastism or something. The point is that in ancient rome the only Idea of sin was not living up to your potential. Then, all of a sudden, this idea of two worlds divided came in to play. Remember that treating others the way you would like to be treated is the golden rule for most world religions.

It is said that every person in every nation will know the gospel of Jesus before they die. It is up to each individual if the decide to accept it or deny it, as it is a gift. Children that are too young to account for themselves do not go to hell, they go to Heaven, but adults all get a chance to know the Gospel. You know about it or you wouldn't be asking this question. We teach our children the truth. That is we Christians do.

i don't know what Christianity has to say about this so i will comment on Islaam's be-half.True Muslims believe ALL children r pure and innocent no matter what religion they r raised in.If ANY child Muslim,Jewish,Chistian,Hindu,or any other religion,dies before they enter puberty,they are promised Paradise.Muslims don't believe that anyone who hasn't heard Muhammad's(p.b.u.h.) message is going to hell.that is completely unfair.For God is .Al-'Adl.The (most) Just.We believe that if a man or woman had a chance to learn about Islaam and they chose not to,that is what they'd be accounted for.When Islaam came about, there were still Christians and Jews in other parts of the world.they didn't all hear about it.as long as they kept practicing Judaism or Christianity,and raised pious Christian or Jewish children,they would,if God's willing,go to Paradise.

because finally, the international belongs to us. lots of the terrible issues that take position are because we reason them. If God replaced into to initiate eliminating evil, large! yet the position would it not end? confident, He'd remove all the toddler molesters, murderers, and rapists... then He'd remove all the grasping human beings, liars, adulterers, thieves, idolaters, fornicators, gossipers, and hateful bigots. Who will be left? would you? would I? extra, why might want to God do each little thing for us? Do mother and father do extremely each little thing for his or her little ones lengthy when they alter into adults? No. on the same time as little ones, we are anticipated to take duty, good? possibly some day we are going to study. and little ones do not bypass to hell in any faith i have ever heard of.

1) God has made it evident to everyone that both christianity AND islam now, because all of this terrorist bullshit going around, exist, and therefore you have to go find out about them.

Christians dominate America in our schools, stores, basically everywhere.

Muslims unwillingly dominate our TV's on CNN

It is impossible for anyone not living alone in some mountain cave for their entire lives to not hear about either religion.

2) Would you have yourself go to Hell just to send your kid to Heaven? Not me. Islam says that it is your moral duty as a muslim parent to teach your child everything about Islam. Basically, if you dont do that, they're a very good chance ull be burnin'.

I dunno about christians but its probably similar since both religions originiated from books authored by the same God...just one group of people decided their book wasn't to their liking...

It's also been suggested that Christians put their children to death before they hit the "Age of Accountability". That way they're guaranteed to go to Heaven. Wouldn't you want to do the best thing for your kids? Send them to Heaven before they get the chance to sin!

Not knowing is a sin all it self. beside it says in koran that parents have to teach their childern the right way ( which ever way they believe) till there kids are adults. I Islam girls turn adults when they have their periods and guys at the agte of 14
