Well if your hair is dyed, you do realize you must use shampoo for colored hair. That is one mistake I made when I colored my hair. My stylist looked at my hair, accessed it, and asked if i used coloring shampoo, I told her I did nto and she tsk'd me saying I must use it because regualr shampoo is too harsh on color treated hair. So look and see if thats the problem because I tie my hair up every night, I condition it, and try to stay away from heat tools, so I was baffled as to why my hair was still breaking despite me taking care of my hair.
Also, make sure to stay away from or keep the following things at a minimum:
* wearing hats/scarves: the friction from these materials will dry your hair out and cause it to break
* styling with heat tools: the excessive heat on the hair can be damaging over time even if you don't notice the damage immediately
* ponytails/hair pins: these items can cause breakage in the areas in which they are applied due to friction and putting them in and pulling them out of your hair if used regularly
* re-styling your hair: try to style your hair in a style that can last a couple of days, constant restyling or manipulation of the hair causes breakage
I hope all goes well and in the end you look FABULOUS!!

Stress, dye (contains ammonia and other bad substances), a bad diet, harsh chemicals (like perms), tugging and pulling when styling, using unclean hair utensils, bad products. Get a multi-vitamins, eat fruits and veggies and protein (like meats), get a natural (essential oils like rosemary (they contain protein the only thing that can be absorbed into the shaft so give yourself a hot-oil treatments), find good products and have patients it takes a while but you have to get healthy hair first.

The reasons can vary. But you are right to change your shampoo for a start. Read the labels first before you buy. Avoid items that contain perfumes and alcholol because these dry up your scalp and causes hair to drop. Next is to eat plenty of fishes. It has Omega 3 which is healthy for your hair growth. Avoid washing your hair too often for now. Happy holiday to you too!

Extreme diet and lack of nutrients will prevent your hair to grow or make it shed. Hair is made up of protein. Why do you want yr hair to stop growing anyway. Just cut it which is easier than letting it grow. Better yet, shave it off that would take a while to grow back

Sometimes a serious injury or chronic health problems will interfere with hair growth, too, because the energy your body would normally use to grow hair is instead spent on recovery. If you take certain medications (for instance, some antibiotics), they can make your hair drop sooner than usual, too.

ok for one you cannot take dye out of your hair, but you should not dye your hair its very bad for your hair, Also you should make sure you get you hair trimmed. The BEST way to make your hair grow is to take prenatal vitamins... they are for pregnent women but they also help your hair grow and you dont have to be pregnant to take them.. i took them for a long time and in a matter of a year my hair grew from right past my shoulders to down past the middle of my back almost to my butt. So it works

I would visit a Professional Hair Stylist for a consultation! You may have to cut it and start over, also eat healthy foods and a good multi-vitamin.
