did he have clean hands/fingernails? If not, it could just add more bacteria, which would obviously be counter-productive and may make the antibiotic medication have to work harder.
But unusual vaginal bleeding/bleeding during sex is also a symptom of a STD, and people with STDs are at greater risk to get bacterial vaginosis. If you haven't already, it could be a good idea to get screened. It could also be because you were cut. Either way, you should probably call your doctor and ask. You shouldn't risk it.

Okay, half of these people need to grow up.
If you are on the one-dose clindesse, you should be fine.
It probably was the activity that caused you to bleed - just keep an eye on it and if you're losing massive amounts of blood, of course, go to the hospital.
like others pointed out, he can have bacteria on his hand, which just makes the situation worse, but honestly, it's very unlikely that there's enough bad bacteria on his hand that you're going to have to take another dose.
Just use warm water and soap "down there" every day - keep it very clean. Wipe from front to back so you don't spread bacteria from your feces to the area, and make sure that you're washing any toys before you use it.
I've had it before, and it hurt like h*ll so I definitely feel your pain. It'll clear up and all will be good again, just make sure you keep from getting it again!!!

You should refrain from all sexual stuff while on antibiotics for an infection!!! He has bacteria all over his hands and that could aggravate it even more. Keep yourself clean and leave your pants on, atleast till your infection is cleared up!

Having any kind of sexual contact while having vaginosis is NEVER recommended. I would suggest you get some psychotherapy real fast!
