Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth and The Life; no one comes to the Father except through Him. These were the words of Jesus Himself. The reason He is so controversial is because of His adamant claims of Divinity and that He alone provides salvation. The world is at enmity with God and His Son, Jesus Christ, and thus there will always be this division -until Christ returns to Earth as He promised. The ruler of this world is Satan and Satan has blinded the eyes of the world to the truth of Jesus Christ and instills in them hatred towards Christ, the Bible and Christianity.

You say there is nothing as divisive as Christ.... what about witchcraft? That certainly sets a Christian's hair on edge. Religions all over the world get up in arms at us Pagans and Wiccans and Witches.

Wanna see divisiveness? Take a look at homosexuality. That seems a heck of a lot mor divisive than Christ.

And to think that Christianity is the most divisive religion is kind of weak. Look at the news some day.

Christianity used to be much more divisive than it is today. Probably in the early days, and in som parts of the world today, being a Christian could bring about the demise of entire families. It's not like that as much in most places.

I don't think that YA is quite a realistic representation of the world.

Every religion has its share of fights. The same thing could be said of Muhammad. Does that verify him?

It would be ridiculous to think people would NOT be divided.

This is like falling for a "Bible prophecy" that is nearing impossible to avoid occurring - e.g. wars and rumors of wars.
