call your vet and tell him what has happened and then maybe he could prescribe something you can give to them to make it pass. But I think it would depend on the size of the earring.

No, I don't think so. My yellow lab puppy ate a needle and they said it would eventually pass fine on it's own and it did. It might be different for Yorkies. It would be good to call your vet's office and ask about it and bring him/her in if you're concerned because he/she isn't eating or pooping.

I would consult with a vet on this.,earrings havesharp points that could perforate the dog's intestines. They may have a suggestion for you.until you can get through to speak to someone, keep watch on the dogs stools to see if it passes on it's own.

You may want to call the vet. I don't think it will harm him, just make sure you keep a close eye on him and his bowel movements. I think it should just pass through. My dog ate a popsicle stick once and she just passed it through no problem. Goodluck

oh wow, I don't think so. Why would he do that, is he a puppy? I think it could really harm your dog and cause all kinds of problems. You should try to at least talk to someone in the emergency clinic.
good luck and I hope the little guy/gal is ok!
