the phrase reads " i am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine, that feedeth among the lilies". I dont want the last part that says "that feedeth among the lilies", but when i look at the translation in the hebrew language on the wesite " http://www.mechon-mamre.org/p/pt/pt3006.htm " i dont know where that part of the scripture begins. if someone could help me i would be very greatful. thank you

Pronounced: ani le'dodi ve'dodi li (ani= I, le= for, dodi= my beloved ve= and, dodi= my beloved, li= for me)

hi, i speak hebrew and it is the first four words, pronounced ani lidodi vidodi lee if you look in got milk ads you'll see david becham has it on his left forarm with a few more words i cant read, but yes, it is the first four words of the 3rd verse with the hebrew letter next to it "gimmel" (not included, it is just the four words) this is if you really would like the tattoo, though like the other answerers i dont reccomend getting them

Make sure you get it done so you can read it on your body. They usually print the template out and then put it one your body so that words would be backwards. Brittaney Spears made that mistake and now has the Hebrew word for Yahweh backwards on her neck. Also Decide if you want ancient or modern hebrew.

i would say don't get a tattoo in a language you don't know since they can pretty much put anything on you and you wouldn't know. This is including copies you bring them. All they have to do is accidentally put a line somewhere where it doesn't belong or miss something and there goes the meaning you intended.

Here's a tip. DON'T GET THE TATOO! It's really bad for you and you shouldn't get it! It's a mark forever like a scar and trust me... You'll regret it.

... question... why would you want a tatoo in hebrew when you can't speak hebrew yourself...? just curious. but go for it.
