How long would it take a dog to trot a mile?

A big dog, like a German Shepherd. Does anyone know?

first you have to find out when train A is departing from gate C, and then you have to manage the speed of train B from gate D. figure in wind speeds and terrain. plus dogs don't trot, horses do.

If the dog really wants to cover the ground, I'd guess about three minutes. A greyhound can run it in under two minutes (41.7mph, according to the link).
