the condom is put on in an attempt to prevent the egg from being fertilized, the abortion takes place once the baby is already starting to develop in the mother's womb.

The Catholics don't approve of either one of these things. Protestants say it's okay to prevent the pregnancy from happening - but not okay to END the pregnancy. And pro-choice people say it's okay to do whatever the heck you want to do - because it's your body. I'm guessing that's what you wanted to know because this is in the Religion and Spirituality section.
