I have a few atheists buddies, and they are usually bitter and want to argue with me about dinosaurs and stuff. I want to know (to all the atheists out there), can we all just get along, (tee hee). I love God, if you don't, hey, no surprise there...but why try to persist in an all out psychological war with every person you meet you loves Jesus or just prays before their meals. Chill out, and if you don't like Christianity, stop obessessing over ways to argue with Christians or list reasons why you are not one. Oh and hello to my buddies who will no doubt give me sh*t about this post on Christmas (hehe).

As a devout atheist, I typically don't argue with Christians. I respect that they choose their beliefs according to their specific upbringing (or event). In fact, I prefer people to be Christians-- good ones, so they don't hit me or try and cheat me. I will debate points should they bring it up but though. I will also comment on the way their public influence sometimes causes strife in our country / community / world.

Wow, big sample there, what is it, 3 or 4? You should publish your findings in some kind of medical journal.

But in all seriousness, I don't judge groups I judge people. It does not matter to me that Christianity has killed 20-30 million people throughout history, I do not judge people for things they are not responsible for. But it saddens me that many modern Christians have the same attitude that caused all the violence from their ancestors.

I, by and large, prefer the company of Atheists. Atheists tend to be more sensitive to others emotional states, and overall nicer people. If you look at the people trying to push their beliefs on people, you will see that your post is rather ridiculous, as Christianity is still the belief system that goes the most out of its way to affect other peoples lives with their beliefs.

Imagine if you will, that you are in a world where everyone worships the tooth fairy, almost every aspect of their lives revolves around the tooth fairy. You know this to be a complete delusion, but to them it is reality. People die over the tooth fairy, people with bad teeth are favored over people with good teeth. Dentistry is banned because it disturbs the natural order of things. You must believe in the tooth fairy to be the President. The country is governed by this mystical tooth fairy.

Imagine living your life in this realm, all of the scenarios and all of the wasted potential.. Now perhaps you see why some of us are not happy with our environment.

Forget about the argumentative atheists. And just accept evolution and other scientific theories as being part of God's process. To maintain otherwise makes us all act like dogmatic silly kids.

We CAN get along if theists would quit ruining the world with lies, myths and wars.

But people who AREN'T part of those wars and stuff but happen to be theists and friendly... sure. Just don't preach to us and we'll get along fine.

I'm a peaceful atheist for the most part. I'm likeable.

I've said this before - why do people who chuck rocks at a proverbial beehive act like victims when they're stung by bees?

If you egg on atheists, then yes - you will get them swarming on you. What would you expect?
