This is a big task. You need to remove pretty much the whole dashboard.
Start removing the dashboard cover. It covers the gauges, radio and ashtray (it's all one part). You will have to pry all the controls (parking light switch, speedometer light switch, a/c vents, cruise control, etc) on the dashboard and in order to remove the ashtray you will have to remove the center console (the one where the shifter and emergency break is).
Make sure you keep track of everything you unsrew so that you can put it back later.
The radio itself only has to wires: the antena and the power/speaker cables.

I did it yesterday. It's not difficult, but a lot of work.

Leave it in a parking lot, unlocked, all night and someone will remove it for you.
