What you I do to reverse the effects of a magnet on a t.v. and a computer screen?

I strong magnet messed up the color in my t.v. and computer screen is there anthing that can be done to reverse or fix the problem???

You can try to degauss your monitor and that should fix it. Usually there's a button or switch on the monitor to do this. Look on the front panel of your monitor, or under the bottom front of it. It could also be in the back somewhere. You can also check the link below.

As for your T.V. I'm not sure. Most T.V.'s don't have a degauss switch/button so you may have to take it in to a repair shop. It should be a quick process and it shouldn't be too expensive.

Most monitors have a degaussing option in the on screen setup, do that a couple times. If that doesn't work, try moving the magnet around the spot have the magnet an inch or two away from the screen, sometimes that will help. Then try degaussing again,, may not help though if it has been there for quite a while. Good luck.
