Most people think about shopping and decorating on Christmas. The Jesus crap is the worse part of Christmas. It's not even needed.

I'm an atheist, and I say no, they shouldn't take christianity out of Christmas. We should celebrate the holiday however we choose. Christians want to be able to celebrate the birth of Jesus during this time and that is entirely appropriate. Christmas was designated AS the holiday to celebrate his birth. Yes, many of the traditions of Christmas were pagan in origin. But nonetheless, Christmas can be a religious holiday to some. I celebrate christmas, just not the religious aspects. My whole family is christian and I have been known to attend services with them on Christmas Eve. So please leave the christians alone and let them have their birthday of Jesus. Ok?

Amazes me how the merchants want my money but not my Jesus , If every Christian did stop celebrating Christmas and stopped buying gifts I would like to see how bad the economy would suffer ,

Wow! I just checked out your questions...you are all about hating Christians, you are like some bad guy in a comic book! Did something bad happen to you, I am sorry for your anger, I pray that you'll find love, in any form and stop being such a party pooper!

Christmas began as a celebration for the birth of Jesus.

Devout Christians still see it as that. Others have become more interested in the commercial meaning of Christmas.

So, no. Don't take Christianity out of Christmas.
