Forsyth County CASA, Inc. provides highly trained and supervised volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children placed in foster care by the Juvenile Court Judge in the Bell-Forsyth Judicial circuit.
Description
Every abused or neglected child in foster care is to have an advocate (CASA volunteer) to provide several services that include reporting to the court what action is in that child's best interest to obtain a safe home and a permanent home as quickly as possible. CASA is the only agency that can provide direct services to abused children in foster care. A CASA volunteer is recognized by the state of Georgia as a guardian ad litem, which holds a volunteer to the same confidentiality standards as any Juvenile Court official.

Just go over to the nursing home or VA hospital and ask if there are people who don't have visitors who would like one.
You can do this anytime, not just on Xmas.

As you have read-there are several including the American Red Cross but I would hope your "GOODWILL" will last more then just a day.
