I do not have any pictures but if your hair is dark, you are better off getting hilights that are thinner rather than chunkier, and they should be in shades 1 to 3 shades lighter so your hair does not looked striped.

Dark hair looks good highlighted if its done right. Black hair would look nice with deep honey or auburn. Brown hair looks good golden or red. A stylist is the best answer for this.

Well, if your hair is black you shouldnt get like blonde, but maybe a red, or a lighter brown, otherwise it could look kinda like a skunk and the roots will be more noticable
