I live in Thailand Good place for me. Yes it is hot and humid most of the time. Today it is in the lower 70sf and I have a jacket on. Yes it feels rather cool.
Thailand equals love sure is a mis statement. That word is not in the Thai language. Lust is but not Love.
Yes there is plenty of sex to be had here as long as you are willing to pay for it. I see nothing wrong with that as long as a person knows that is what it is.
Most that come here as tourists from Europe and the USA never bother to really look at what is here. Many of them fall for the sad stories that they all seem to have to tell.
I actually help some of these gals write letters to the Farong as they call them to try and get them to send money. It sure is amazing how many do send money. Some have as many at ten guys on the mailing list at the same time.
The culture here is so much different than Europe and the USA and very few of those that come here from the west ever take the time to understand what is and what is not.
Keep coming and leaving all your money here you love starved guys. It does help the economy some.

Been there and wont be going back soon. I do not know why most international news agencies are not picking up the constant violence and terror attacks in southern Thailand by Muslim extremist. It seems someone is trying to cover it up to prevent tourists from leaving.

I've been to bangkok once. it was crowded, hot, and humid. probably not a place for those not used to south east asian climate. but the temples and shopping were quite worth it.
