OK, Apple computers are and have been the industry stantard for things like Video and Music production. If you are a creative person, you'll really love Apple computers. I'm a music producer/remixer/DJ and I really want an Apple but don't really have the money right now. If you are more of a technical or buisness person, than you'll want Windows. So creative, Apple, buisness, Windows.

It depends on what you will use it for. I made the switch this year and it was pretty easy for me. But there are some programs on Windows that just aren't available on Apple. However you can run Windows on Apple using bootcamp or parallels. There was a bit of a learning curve for me for like a week or two, but after that I was good. I have a macbook and i upgraded the ram to 2gb.

There's not a lot of learning with Macs - the interface is much better than Windows, and the simple design allows you to make the switch in about an hour. If you can't leave Windows for Mac OS X forever, just install Boot Camp or Parallels to use Windows with a Mac.

Apples taste nice and windows are made of glass. Apples can be hard to handle but you might find it easier if you peel it first.

I used my friends iMac the other day and within 2 hours I never wanted to use my windows machine ever again. It just works plain and simple.
