i don't think adults can see santa so it wouldn't really matter.

Yes they do because Santa is magical if your pure in heart and believe in him being in bed will allow him to do his job and keep the spirit of christmas alive.

Nonbelievers can stay up as late as they want, but if you really believe in Santa, you go to bed early, so he has a chance to visit.

No. because Santa is magical and can only be seen by the pure and innocent. Thus adults cannot see him.

According to my 4 and 6 year old .. yes ...we should be in bed too so Santa will leave us our presents. Try explaining to them why you're still awake when they waddle into your room to tell you somethin .... cuz they are still awake! Guess its just the excitement! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

no my parents never were but they made sure that they were in their room in case me or my other siblings walked into their room to sleep. Their room was where the toys were hidden
