Not sure which movies you're referring to but either the movies were made with the audio/video out of synch, or your machine can't keep up.

If your machine can't keep up, there's usually an option to sacrifice one thing for the other. In other words, sacrifice video flow for constant audio, or sacrifice audio flow for constant video. You should find that setting somewhere in your player preferences.
