I really don't see what the big deal is. :S But I guess I'm not a very strict conservative Christian/Catholic as I also believe in evolution and the big bang. xD And I really don't see why it is so shocking that Jesus may have had descendants. But yeah, anyone else?

I really think that people lose sight of the fact that this novel is fiction. If everyone believes that every word written in the book is fact then the same must go for other books like harry potter. And here I was not knowing that the were wizards living amongst us. Not to mention dementia's and werewolves.

I personally am not religious at all so really don't care about the implications of the book, but really enjoyed reading it and felt that the author had a very clever mind.

So well done on enjoying the book and not giving a fig for the religious connections as after all it is just a fictitious book.

I also believe in evolution and the big bang theory. It only means that your an open person, which is a good thing because no one was there with Jesus, so none of us know the truth but i agree with you it is possible that Jesus Christ had descendants. And the movie was brilliant.

i never seen it really dont want to but everyone has there views and if you enjoyed it great but someone who did see it might of not have. that fact is the movie if fictional and to most people is contradictin the bible saying the bible might be wrong and the way people were taught about jesus. you have to look at it from both sides

i doubt it...there are plenty of "religous" people that most likely enjoyed it and plenty of other garbage the world offers...but i dont know any christians who enjoyed watching Jesus get dragged through the mud

It was a great mystery thriller. The church made too big of a deal out of it.
